She Runs Outdoors Coaching Terms and Conditions
I understand that by registering for She Runs Outdoors Coaching, I (the athlete) agree to the following terms and conditions:
Athlete Responsibilities
-
I will declare all medical conditions to my coach and understand that I am responsible for ensuring I am fit to participate in any training advised by She Runs Outdoors.
-
I understand that it is my responsibility to inform my coach of any changes to my health that could affect my ability to exercise. This includes any niggles or injuries sustained.
-
I agree to seek medical advice if I have any concerns about my health or suitability to train.
-
I understand that She Runs Outdoors Coaching does not guarantee that I will complete any specific event or achieve any personal goal.
-
I understand that personal accident insurance and insurance for personal items are my own responsibility.
Coach Responsibilities
-
Your coach will use her training and knowledge to develop a safe and structured training plan that considers your goals, fitness level, medical history and lifestyle.
-
Your coach will provide support and guidance to help you work toward your goals.
-
Your coach will ensure that everything agreed in your initial meeting is documented and supplied to you.
-
She Runs Outdoors accepts no liability for any injury, loss, or damage suffered by the client, or to any other person, or to any property, in connection with the coaching advised or otherwise. This includes, but is not limited to, injuries resulting from the client’s participation in training or events, except where the injury is directly caused by the coach’s negligence.
Payments, cancellations and refunds
-
I understand that it is my responsibility to set up a standing order or regular payment using the bank details provided by She Runs Outdoors.
-
I agree to make a monthly payment on or before the date agreed between myself and my coach.
-
I understand that all She Runs Outdoors coaching programs continue until cancelled by either the athlete or the coach in writing or by email.
-
A minimum payment for one month is required when starting coaching. Your coach will begin developing your plan once this payment has been received.
-
I understand that all monthly fees are non-refundable, regardless of illness, injury, event withdrawal or non-participation. Fees cover the coach's time spent planning and supporting, not the athlete's usage of the plan.
-
I understand that I am responsible for cancelling any standing order payments if I no longer require coaching. No refunds will be given for payments already made.
-
I agree to give She Runs Outdoors 30 days notice in writing if I wish to cancel my coaching.
-
If an athlete takes a break from coaching and returns within 30 days, they may resume at their current coaching fee. If the break is longer than 30 days and the She Runs Outdoors Coaching fee has increased, the new fee will apply. Returning does not guarantee that a space will be available unless this has been pre-agreed and the first month's fee has been paid to hold the place. The exception to this is for athletes returning after having a baby. The 30 day period is extended to one year after birth.
-
During the 30 day period after cancellation or pausing of coaching, any medical information you have provided will be retained solely for administrative purposes and to allow an efficient restart if you return within this time. After 30 days, all personal data will be destroyed, erased or anonymised. If you return to coaching after 30 days, you will be treated as a new athlete and will need to re-provide your details and reconnect through TrainingPeaks. She Runs Outdoors will always maintain the confidentiality of your medical information.
-
If your coach can no longer coach you, you may request a refund for any unfulfilled coaching.
-
She Runs Outdoors reserves the right to refuse to coach an athlete who acts in a way that is abusive, negligent, malicious, or in any way compromises the safety, wellbeing or working relationship with the coach. No refund will be given in this situation.
-
She Runs Outdoors may update these terms and conditions at any time and will inform you of any changes. Continued use of coaching after notification of changes will be considered acceptance of the updated terms. If you disagree with the new terms, you may cancel your coaching agreement.
