Starting and finishing at the Milk Churn cafe gives us the opportunity to have coffee and cake or even the famous Sussex Charmer cheese on toast after our run.
This run is perfect for those new to trail running as the route takes us through woodland and across farmland and quiet bridleways, with nothing too technical.
We run a short section of the Downslink until we enter woodland then pick up the Sussex Border path across farmland. We then make our way East towards Rowhook and Roman Woods, the pretty woodland trails are filled with birdsong and incredibly peaceful.
Elevation: 220m
We are here to have fun and make friends not race. We will aim to run together, regroup when needed and encourage each other along the way. You should be able to run 6:15/7:00 min/km 10:00/11:00m/mi and be fit enough to run.
