About The Event

Please read ALL the information below:

Westerlands Farm in Graffham is now home to several of our South Downs runs. Nestled in the very heart of the South Downs National Park, this idyllic farm is a runner's paradise, with trails in every direction, amidst the breath taking South Downs scenery.

Your run begins and concludes at the charming Horsebox Café, where you can treat yourself to a post-run indulgence. We'll embark on our running adventure across farmland and making our way up to the South Downs Way to Heyshott where we will drop down to join the Serpent trail to meander our way back to Westerlands Farm Cafe.

Find out about Westerlands Farm here Why not combine your run with a stay in one of Westerlands  charming  wood cabins or shepherds’ huts or if luxury is more your thing check out their spacious recently renovated barns and cottages.

Your run will be guided by Rachel Murphy; Rachel is an experienced trail runner and qualified trail and ultra-running coach, and a Salomon Running Ambassador. Rachel and her team will support you throughout the run and will be able to give you first-aid treatment if you need it.

She Runs Outdoors runs are social and supportive - we are there to enjoy the views, chat, share tips and have a good time. Please expect stops for taking photos, to re-group and to admire the views while having lots of fun.

Our runs are chilled and not competitive, we support each other along the way, meet new people and enjoy the views, we are not racing.

We warmly welcome all participants to join our event and embrace the experience without unnecessary worry. It's important to note that the pace may vary due to the terrain and conditions encountered during the run.

To ensure everyone's enjoyment and to maintain a cohesive group dynamic, we recommend that participants are comfortable maintaining a pace of approximately 10-11:30 minutes per mile / 6:15-7 minutes per km on flat roads continuously. While hiking the hills is perfectly acceptable, we do ask that participants are capable of running on the flats and downhill sections to help keep the group momentum flowing smoothly.

If you have any doubts or concerns about your ability to meet these expectations, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We want all participants to have a positive and fulfilling experience, and we're here to support you in any way we can.

No racing, no pressure, just supportive run leaders and like-minded women, making the runs accessible to runners who are comfortable with the distance of each individual run.

The following items are COMPULSORY:
