Join She Runs Outdoors for a beautiful weekend as we explore the forests and Downs at the north-east edge of the Dartmoor National Park.

Your host for the weekend will be experienced Salomon athlete and trail runner Rachel Murphy.

This women’s trail running weekend will feature some fabulous routes, exploring the area to the north east of Dartmoor National Park. We will stay right in and run through native woodland, experiencing the beauty of the Teign Gorge and local Downs. We will escape for the weekend, running breathtaking trails as well as finding time to relax.  You will enjoy some wonderful guided trail runs and have a chance to chat all things trail while making new friends.

We will stay in Blytheswood Hostel set in a secluded area amongst the trees, giving us direct access onto the surrounding trails. She Runs Outdoors, will have exclusive use of the entire property for the weekend.

Trains to Exeter (approximately 2-3 hours from London). You can then either get a taxi which takes approximately 20-30 minutes or the 259 bus from Exeter right to the bottom of the drive at Steps Bridge.

We will have Salomon trail shoes and hydration vests to trial during the weekend.

She Runs Outdoors weekends are social paced runs.

We are here to have fun and make friends. It is NOT a race. The runs are chilled and not competitive. You are encouraged to relax and not stress about your pace. We support each other along the way and get to meet some new people.

We are there to enjoy the views, chat, and share tips and generally have a good time. There will be plenty of breaks and fun along the way. Guided Trail Runs are social paced runs – so please expect stops for taking photos, to re-group.

Roughly speaking if you are fit enough to run and comfortable running 10-11 min miles / 6:15-7 min km on on flat you will be fine.

If you are a faster runner, take it easy and make new friends.

No racing, no pressure, just a supportive run leader and like-minded women; making the runs accessible to runners  who are comfortable with the distance of each individual run.

As an experienced trail runner and qualified run leader, I plan and guide the routes. I check all the routes myself and I'm on hand to offer support. I am also a qualified in Wilderness First Aid.

Whether you’ve never trail run before, or have experience, we would love to have you join us on one of our adventures.
